We are saddened to share that Rosa has passed away at the age of 84. She is now with her dear husband Felice (1998). Loving Mother to Diana Romanzin (Renato), Susy Caruana (Emanuele), and Sonia De Rose. Cherished Nonna to Anthony, Massimo, Gianluca, Anthony, and Felicia. A good friend to Antonio Piccinin. She was predeceased by her parents Guido and Giorgina Benvenuto. Adored sister to the late Paolo (the late Marietta), the late Alfredo (Emma), Maria (Silvano), Ida (the late Luigi), Angelo (Sue), and Mario (Mitzi). Many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends will miss her dearly.
Rosa spent many joyful hours in her garden and loved cooking delicious meals for her family. She had a love for travel that led her on many wonderful journeys. The most important part of her life was being with her family and friends.
If you wish, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Rosa.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel (3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7236) on Thursday January 22, 2026 from 2pm-5pm and again from 7pm-9pm. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30pm. Visitation will continue the next day, Friday January 23, 2026 at the funeral home until the Chapel Service at 10:30am. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
