We are heartbroken to share that Pierre Joseph Remi Asselin has unexpectedly passed away at his home on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the age of 60.
Pierre was a loving father to Jordan Asselin and a cherished son of Raynald Asselin and the late Pierrette Paré. He will be fondly remembered by his girlfriend Christine Ricker and Jordan’s mother, Cindy Nicholson. His siblings Bianca Asselin, Herman Asselin, and Claudine (Ken) Soulliere will also miss him dearly. Pierre’s nephews Alex (Melanie), Karl, Raphael, Samuel (Coco), Joshua, and Noah will feel his absence profoundly.
Pierre spent many years proudly running Asselin Collision, where his dedication and service positively impacted numerous people in the community. Outside of work, he loved life’s adventures-especially motorcycles, hunting, fishing-and he had a creative spirit that shone through his many projects.
Family and friends are invited to join us at Windsor Chapel (Banwell Chapel), located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Saturday, September 27 from 1-4 p. m., 6-8 p. m., and Sunday September 28 from 12:30-1:30 p. m. The funeral service will take place at the chapel on Sunday, September 28 at 1:30 p. m., followed by cremation.

Pierre will be remembered for his strong character, love for nature, and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. He will be missed deeply and held dear in our hearts.
