It’s with nice unhappiness we announce the passing of Norman on December 23, 2024 on the age of 82 years. Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary Louise (nee Drouillard). Loving father of Penelope Ann Watson (Michael), Donna Might Hebert (Thomas), Pamela Lynn Liburdi (Francesco) and Diane Marie Lamothe (Claude). Cherished Grandfather of Melissa Watson, Meghan and Stephanie Hebert (Ryan), Francesco, Paolo (Olivia) and Bianca Liburdi, Kelly Anne Mayhew (Chad), Katelynne, Kandance and Joshua Lamothe. Proud and loving Nice Grandfather of Sadie Mae and Rory, Olivia, and Averie. Pricey brother of Bernice Woods, Shirley Anne DeRush (late Bob), the late Don and Nancy Nantais, the late Bernadette Gwilt, the late Arthur Nantais and the late Clarence Nantais. Norman can even be missed by many nieces and nephews and all these whose lives he has touched.
Norman was pleased with his time in ministry known as “Sharer’s of the Word”, he devoted 32 years of service to Windsor Regional Hospital- Western Campus earlier than retirement. He loved watching the grandkids’ hockey, soccer, and all sports activities. Norman was an avid fisherman and an previous western films aficionado. He was well-known for his sense of humour and had a means of constructing the entire room smile when he entered. We are going to miss his smiling voice telling us “I love you, be good.” on the finish of our cellphone calls.
Visitation can be held at Windsor Chapel – South Chapel, 3048 Dougall Ave (519-253-7236) on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. Parish prayers Friday at 4 pm. Funeral service can be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 10:15 am from the funeral residence then to Our Girl of Assumption Church, 2735 College Ave. W., for the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to observe at Heavenly Relaxation Cemetery. Donations to the Coronary heart & Stroke Basis or to Our Girl of Guadalupe Residence of Windsor can be appreciated by the household.
