It’s with nice unhappiness we announce the passing of Nicolina Sciacca (nee Bavetta) on January 20, 2025 on the age of 82. Reuniting along with her son in heaven, Saverio Sciacca (2011).
She leaves behind her devoted husband, Mario Sciacca, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage with, and her daughter Melinda (Matthew) Sciacca. Cherished Nonna to Donovan, Tessia, Miranda, Mackenzie and Meghan. She shall be missed by her brothers Vince Bavetta, Peter Bavetta and their households.
Nicolina was a tremendous mom, caring nonna and one nobody can change. She was identified for her well-known meatballs, biscotti, cannoli’s and panettone.
She was acknowledged for her hardwork and her ardour for her profession, she was a hairdresser at 13 years outdated and owned her personal salon on the age of 14, “Lina’s Hairstyles”.
Her and Mario shared the enterprise facet, proudly owning many profitable property’s inside the Windsor-Essex space.
Visitation shall be held at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 3:00pm to five:00pm and seven:00pm to 9:00pm.
Visitation to proceed on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 11am till the time of service within the chapel at 12pm. Entombment to comply with at Heavenly Relaxation Cemetery.
