Matthew Edward Crosby was the loving son of Kathy Yancy and Eugene Crosby, and a dear brother to Mitchell, Korey, and Kourtney. He was also a proud father to his sweet daughter, Alaysia Crosby, who brought immense joy to his life. Matthew is survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Matthew had a big heart with a gentle spirit. As a talented musician, he enjoyed playing the drums and piano, crafting beats and writing meaningful lyrics for his songs. He shared his musical gifts as a drummer at church, where his performances resonated with many.

During his youth in Windsor, Matthew stood out for his athletic skills-especially as one of the fastest runners in track and field events. He had a passion for basketball too and approached every sport with enthusiasm.

Fearless by nature, Matthew was the only one in his family unafraid of animals. This bravery extended into all areas of his life. He was protective, caring, and fiercely loyal; he loved deeply and took pride in those he cared about.

Above all else, his daughter was his greatest joy in life. His legacy will continue through the music he created, the love he shared, and the lives he influenced.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E (519 253-7235) on Saturday August 16th from 1pm until the funeral service begins at 2pm. Interment will follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Online condolences and fond memories can be shared with the family at www. windsorchapel. com. A livestream of the service can be accessed at Livestream
