December 5, 1925 – January 18, 2026
Mary Paterson was a devoted wife to her late husband, Don Paterson. She was a caring Mom to Thom and Jacquie Paterson; Marg and the late John Farkas; Marianne and Lou Fenninger; Paul and Michelle Paterson; the late Steven Paterson; Ella and Mario Muzzin; Joanne and Stan Dunn; John and Marisa Paterson; Laura Wabishewich; Annie Paterson and Frank Hreljac. She was also a loving sister to Clorinda Nicodemo (the late Bruno) and Irma and John Susko. Our mom was Grams to 22 grandkids and GG to 31 great-grandkids.
Mary’s kindness touched everyone she met. She loved giving back to others and was involved with various charities including the CFM (Christian Family Movement), CWL, the Cancer Society, and the Exclusive Club – Mastectomy Serving Group.
Arrangements are with Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central) at 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. (519)-253-7234. Visitation will be on January 23, 2026 from 3:00pm-9:00pm. Parish prayers with Father Glen Ball will take place on January 23, 2026 at 4:30pm. There will be visitation on January 24, 2026 from 10:00am-11:00am at Immaculate Heart Parish, located at 2153 Parkwood Ave, followed by Funeral Mass at 11:00am. A procession will go from Immaculate Heart Church to St. Alphonsus Cemetery on Sheppard Street E., where interment will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in memory of Mary to one of these organizations: Windsor Cancer Centre or Brookesong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre.
