Marguerite Rose La Rocque (nee Lappan)
April 2, 1954 - January 12, 2025
Love of my life, mom of our youngsters and my finest good friend.
Marguerite was recognized 14 years in the past, with early onset alzhiemer’s and handed away at Huron Lodge. By no means as soon as did I hear her complain about her circumstances, as an alternative she lived life to the fullest. We loved our journeys to Florida, Mexico, Nationwide CIS Basketball Championships and the cottage with our household and pals for so long as she might journey.
Marguerite was born and raised in Tecumseh, Ontario and attended St. Anne Excessive Faculty and the College of Windsor the place she earned a B Sc. and Ontario Secondary Trainer’s degree.
She was an athlete, educator and coach. She was a life guard on the previous Tecumseh pool as a young person and he or she and her pals had been the unique gradual pitch gamers. They received a number of championships and a Bronze Medal on the Canadian Championships in 1989. Her educating service was spent at St. Anne, Villanova and Holy Title’s the place she taught Bodily Training, Faith and Coulinary Abilities.
Marguerite is survived by her husband Michael La Rocque and kids Brianne La Rocque, Mathieu (Samantha) La Rocque, Jocelyn (Will) Phounpadith, grandchildren Bowen, Everleigh, Ellia, Deegan, Lennon and Finley.
She was the eldest daughter of the late Don and Denise Lappan and loving sister of the late Peter and Marc Lappan and survived by Suzette (late Steve Brunton), Jeanette Ducharme, Don Lappan Jr., Marie (Jake) Lanoue, Raymond (Cathy) Lappan, Annette (Larry) Ducharme, and William (Diane) Lappan.
She was the daughter-in-law of Dr. Raymond and Mrs. Jennette La Rocque and sister-in-law to Greg (Doris) La Rocque, Tim (Anesa) La Rocque, Steve (Jeanne) La Rocque, Chris (Kelly) La Rocque, Lynn (Dean) Morgan, Paulette (Invoice) Spadafora, Pam (John) Rocca, Shari (Bobby) Burnett, Paul (Amy Borysowytsch) and we’ve extra nieces and nephews than you could possibly ever depend.

Visiting on the WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd E (519)253-7235 on Sunday January 19. 2025 from 2 to 5pm and seven to 9pm. Prayers Sunday at 7pm. Visitation will proceed on Monday January 20, 2025 at St. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) from 10am till time of her funeral mass at 11:00am. Interment to observe at Heavenly Relaxation Cemetery.
