We were taken by surprise and deeply saddened to learn that LUIS MOSQUERA has left us too soon. He passed away early on Monday morning at the Oullette Campus. Luis is survived by his wonderful wife of 25 years, Sophie, and his brothers Chester, William, and Joffre. He was predeceased by his parents Segundo and Olga.
Luis brought happiness, laughter, and fun wherever he went. He had a way of connecting with everyone he met. His love for Lord Jesus was evident, and he wasn’t shy about sharing it. A self-taught guitar player, he brightened the days of nursing home residents and staff alike.
Luis had a talent for crafting with both his hands and his imagination. He made intricate boats that you couldn’t help but admire. In his basement workshop, he enjoyed sewing projects alongside Sophie as they nurtured their garden together.
Together with Sophie, they were fantastic hosts who welcomed everyone into their home.
As we remember him along with Sophie and family, we all feel the weight of this loss.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235) on Friday November 14th, 2025 from 11am until the funeral service in the chapel at 1pm, led by Pastor Bill.
