With heavy hearts we share the news of John Wolf’s passing at the age of 95. He was a devoted husband to Elsie for 73 wonderful years. He is survived by his daughter Vicki Baumert (Frank, 2012). John was a proud Grandfather to Amanda and Natalie and a Great-Grandfather to Riley and Spencer. His sister Theresa Wiegand resides in St. Louis, Missouri. John spent around 25 years as an architectural draftsman with Giffels Associates. He played a key role on several major projects, including the Windsor Raceway, Harrow Research Centre, Guelph Animal Care, Sarnia Hospital, the DEW Line across Canada, and Chrysler dealerships in Western Ontario. Afterward, he dedicated over 20 years teaching architectural drafting at St. Clair College. Following his retirement, he became an enthusiastic woodworker and honed his skills in marquetry.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Central – 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E, Windsor (519-253-7234) on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm and again from 5:00pm until the Chapel Service begins at 6:30pm. At John’s request, cremation will take place afterward. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider making a donation to a charity of your choice. The Wolf Family invites all guests to come dressed casually.
