It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jean Joseph Campeau who handed away on the Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus on November 3, 2024 on the age of 88.
Jean was the son of the late Frank and Amy Campeau (nee DeRocher).
Expensive husband of the late Ursula Campeau (nee Brissette).
Loving father of Jean Campeau, Susanne Campeau (Rod Comeau), Dave (Colleen) Campeau, Alan (Sue) Campeau.
Grandpa of Danielle Comeau (Matthew) MacCormack, Alana Comeau, Nichole (Carlos) Cruz, Lisa Campeau (Clemens Beck), Mitchell Campeau (Barb Satanek), Stephen (Kelsey) Campeau, and Melissa Campeau (Luc MacKay).
Nice grandpa of Tessa Cruz, Levi Campeau, Nelson Beck, Millie MacCormack, Nash MacCormack, Harrison MacCormack, and Grayson Campeau.
Brother of late Lucille (late Gerard) Emery, Arthur (Cecile) Campeau, Mary Jane (late Claude) Deschatalets, Paul Campeau, and predeceased by many brother and sister in legal guidelines.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousin, and pals.
Jean shall be remembered for his years of service working within the automotive business and being a neighborhood member of Unifor 444, and membership within the Royal Canadian Legion Department 261 and Knights of Columbus. He loved being together with his household and {golfing} in his spare time.
Visitation shall be held on the Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E in Windsor on Sunday November 10 from 2:00pm till 5:00pm. A funeral mass will happen at St. Simon & St. Jude Catholic Parish in Belle River on Monday November 11 at 11:00am with cremation to observe. A non-public household interment will happen at St. Williams Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made in reminiscence to the guts and stroke basis can be appreciated.
