It is with heavy hearts that Janette Meloche’s family shares the news of her passing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the age of 73. She was the loving wife of the late Sidney Sr. and a devoted mother to Sidney Jr. (Crystal Janisse), Saundra Kowaliw (Cam), and Janice Tersigni (Mario). She will be fondly remembered as a grandmother to Sidney III, Owen, Mara, Michael, and Jacob. Also mourning her loss is her sister-in-law Sharon Antonyk (Richard). Many nieces, nephews, and friends will miss her dearly; among them are those who held a special place in her heart like Karen Zorzit (Victor) and Avery, Marcus Tzaras, and Monique Tzaras. Her best friends Karel and Faith Zouzal will also feel this loss deeply. She has now reunited with her parents Alphonse Thibert and Marie Jacob along with her six siblings.

Janette spent many years as a licensed hairdresser, spreading warmth and joy to everyone she met. She had a passion for singing, dancing, and truly enjoying life. Janette cared immensely for her family, friends, and animals-always putting others before herself. Her kindness and gentle nature will always be remembered by those who knew her well. A heartfelt thanks goes out to Shoreview for their care during this time.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) 519-253-7234 on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2pm-5pm and again from 7pm-9pm. The visitation will continue on Monday, September 15, 2025 starting at 12pm until the Funeral Service begins at 1pm. Following this service there will be cremation. Donations in Janette’s memory can be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor-Essex. Online condolences may be shared at www. windsorchapel. com http://www. windsorchapel. com.
