With heavy hearts, the family of Janette Meloche shares the news of her passing on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at the age of 73. She was the loving wife of the late Sidney Sr. and is survived by her children Sidney Jr. (Crystal Janisse), Saundra Kowaliw (Cam), and Janice Tersigni (Mario). She was a devoted grandmother to Sidney III, Owen, Mara, Michael and Jacob. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Sharon Antonyk (Richard). Many nieces, nephews and friends will miss her dearly; among them are special friends Karen Zorzit (Victor) and Avery, Marcus Tzaras, and Monique Tzaras. Her best friends Karel and Faith Zouzal will hold her memory close as well. She has reunited with her parents Alphonse Thibert and Marie Jacob along with her six siblings.

Janette worked as a licensed hairdresser for many years, bringing warmth to everyone she met. Her passions included singing, dancing, and truly enjoying life every day. Janette had a big heart for her family, friends, and animals; she always prioritized others over herself. Those who knew her will remember her kindness and warm personality fondly. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Shoreview for their care during this time.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E.) 519-253-7234 on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 2pm-5pm and again from 7pm-9pm. The visitation will continue on Monday, September 15, 2025 from noon until the Funeral Service begins at 1pm. Cremation will follow after the service. Donations in Janette’s honor may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society of Windsor- Essex. You can share online condolences at www. windsorchapel. com http://www. windsorchapel. com.
