The peaceable passing of Isabelle “Belle” Sangster occurred on Friday, August 30, 2024.

 

Born July 2, 1927, Mother was the youngest youngster of William and Emma (Hill) Hale. She was the final surviving member of her speedy household.

 

An energetic, fun-loving supportive buddy, aunt, and mom Belle all the time met life with a smile, a constructive perspective, and a reserve of power, resilience, and deep religion. Mother cherished to fulfill individuals and made buddies simply and nothing gave her higher pleasure than assembly acquaintances whereas she was out and about.

 

For over 40 years, Mother was an equal accomplice with Dad making Boyd’s Bakery a profitable native enterprise. Household, church, and neighborhood have been of utmost significance to her. She took nice delight within the accomplishments, actions, and travels of her youngsters and grands. She prided herself on having been in a position to attend virtually each grandchild’s highschool and college commencement.

 

She by no means missed a possibility to take part in a marriage, birthday, or baptism wherever and even cruised  to Alaska and the Caribbean. For over 70 years the Black Level cottage was and continues to be a particular place and has welcomed many to assemble and rejoice.

 

A Christian woman of religion, she was a lifelong member of “St. Bees” Anglican Church; served on Parish Council, Altar Guild, and was instrumental in The Serving to Fingers group.She was an energetic member of Westville Curling Membership for 50 years and was awarded a life membership. Due to her years of dedication to the Canadian Most cancers Society, she was awarded Volunteer of the Yr in 1982. She additionally was concerned with the Terry Fox Run; delivered Meals on Wheels till she was 88 years previous and loved her duties with the Aberdeen Hospital Auxillary Reward Store.

 

Belle is survived by youngsters Linda (Brian) Bezanson, Susan Sangster, Grace (Ron) Paris, David, Kevin (Kelly),Ruth (Sandy) Rundle, and Phillip (Angie). She was affectionally often called Gramma to Jennifer (Invoice) Byer, John (Amy) and Michael Cedric (Cris) Bezanson; Ian (Melissa) Nordin; Emily (Brad) MacDougall, Beth (Mitch) MacKenzie; Morgan (Shaun) Lundy; Kate Rundle (Chris Cairns), Amanda (Mike) Bettle and David Rundle (Emma Barlow); Claire and Dean Sangster; Nice Gramma “GG” to 12 – Nick, Nathan, Luc, Isabelle, Lily, Stella, Giselle, Tucker, Sophie, Brock, Ava and Emma and Nice Nice Gramma to  Nova-Lynn. Belle can also be survived by many expensive nieces and nephews regionally and throughout Canada.

 

Belle was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lloyd Sangster in 2001, granddaughter Amy in infancy; sisters Edith Allgood, Ellen Rulolph, Alpha Wilson, Edna Fisher, Lillian Ross, Emma Fraser; brothers Seaton, Roy and George Hale and lots of expensive buddies.

 

A heartfelt because of Jessica Sharpe NP; the VON and Palliative Care.

 

Visitations can be at Eagles Funeral Dwelling from 6-8 pm on Sunday, September 1, 2024 and 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, September 2, 2024. Her funeral service can be at St. Bees Anglican Church on Tuesday, September 3 at 2 pm with Rev. Joanne Neal presiding. No flowers by request. Donations in Belle’s reminiscence could also be made to the Canadian Most cancers Society, St. Bees Anglican Church  or a charity of you alternative.

 

A demise is just not the extinguishing of a lightweight, however the placing out of the lamp as a result of the daybreak has come – Hebrew Proverb
