July 24, 1932 – December 21, 2025

Helen was born in Hillside, Saskatchewan.

She was the loving wife of Claude for 63 years. A caring mother to Wendy (Brian Sweeney) and Ron Peters (Christine Spidy). She held dear the role of grandmother to Chad (Girlyee), Christie (Mel), and Luke. As a great grandmother, she adored Beau, Mia, and Xavi. Helen was preceded in death by her parents George and Susanna Flohr, her brother Frank Flohr, as well as sisters Eva Tremain, Susan Baker, Anna Wiles, Margaret Massey and Hilda Apfelbeck. After over 36 years of dedicated service at RBC, Helen retired proudly. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed classic rock music; however, nothing compared to the time spent with her family. Her family expresses gratitude to the kind staff at Riverside Place for their care. Cremation has been completed. A Memorial Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – South Chapel, located at 3048 Dougall Ave., on Tuesday, December 30 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. The Memorial Service in the chapel will begin at 11:00 am followed by a private family interment. Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or another charity of choice in her honor.
