It’s with profound disappointment that we announce the sudden passing of Graham Stuart Noseworthy on the age of 77, surrounded by household, on July 3, 2024.
He’s survived by his cherished spouse, Debby; his beloved youngsters Daybreak Zwicker (Ryan) and Matthew; and his supply of satisfaction and pleasure, his granddaughters Lily and Emma. Additionally left to mourn Graham are his siblings Greg (Sandi), Rick (the late Brenda), Cheryl (Max Ashford), Ken (Brenda), Rodney, Celeste (Chris Lyver), Charlyn (Jack Bishop) and Mark (Gail); in-laws Norm Lockyer, Ruby (the late Gary Jarvis), Bernice (the late Brent Morton), Marilyn (Rick Allan), Betty (Ken Sydow), Carl, Sterling (Shirley Saltern), Susan (Ron Eason), Cindy (Jeff Black), Bonnie (Mario Bianco) and Karen (Chris Bryan); alongside along with his many expensive nieces and nephews. Graham may even be remembered by his lifelong associates, George Denief and Danny Baldwin, and his Legion buddies. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Graham and Doris Noseworthy, sister Carol Lockyer, and his Father and Mom in-law, Absalom and Myrtle Starkes.
Graham started his profession with the Federal Public Service in 1983 with Parks Canada. A proud Newfoundlander, he was born and educated in St. John’s, and was concerned within the institution of Gros Morne Nationwide Park. In 1994, he introduced his household to Nova Scotia as he turned the Director of the Atlantic Service Centre for Canadian Heritage. In 2001, he was appointed as Regional Director Basic with the Canada Border Companies Company in Southern Ontario, and remained on this place till his effectively deserved retirement in 2009.
Graham loved {golfing} along with his ‘Old Farts’, enjoying snooker, and sharing a toddy along with his household and associates. He was a passionate card and cribbage participant who will probably be remembered as a vocal critic to these courageous sufficient to share the desk with him! A proud Poppy, he would cheer on his granddaughters at their theatre performances and sports activities video games, and even braved the warmth of Thailand to be with them. He was additionally a devoted member and previous President of the Royal Canadian Legion Department 24.
The household will obtain associates for a visitation on the George Darte Funeral Dwelling, 585 Carlton Avenue, St. Catharines, Ontario on Monday, July 8, 2024 from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. Reception to comply with from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on the Royal Canadian Legion Department 24, 15 George Avenue, St. Catharines. Funeral providers will probably be held in St. John’s, Newfoundland on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Anglican Church chapel, 80 Craigmillar Ave.
