It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, nonna, aunt, cousin, and pricey good friend, Giuseppina Radegonda (nee Morrone) on the lovely age of 93, on February 4th, 2025.
Born in Zumpano, Cosenza, Italy on July 1, 1931. Predeceased by her late husband Guido Santo Cozzolino (1961) and late husband Giovanni Radegonda (1984). Daughter of late dad and mom Salvatore and Rosina Morrone (Nee Falbo). Daughter-in-law of the late Giuseppe and late Concetta Cozzolino (nee Morrone). Daughter-in-law of late Andrea and late Teresa Radegonda (Nee Tesolin).
Dearest mom to Joe (Vera) Cozzolino and Maria Teresa (Sean) McCann. Dearest stepmother to the late Frank (2021)(Livia) Radegonda, and Ennio (Patricia) Radegonda.

She will probably be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and pals in Italy, Canada, Australia, France and United States. Giuseppina was a member of St. Francesco di Paola Society.
Giuseppina was a pizza maker in Windsor and was instrumental in establishing Windsor’s fame for being the perfect pizza in Canada within the Nineteen Sixties and Nineteen Seventies. Each one that entered her house can be instantly requested “mangiaste” as she cherished to prepare dinner and feed individuals. She had a inexperienced thumb. She was captivated with curating her flowers, rising scrumptious veggies and her herbs that she would use in teas and cooking. Giuseppina was an individual of resilience and dedication. She believed in forgiveness, love of household, and the ability of prayer. She left a legacy in her household instructing them the significance of taking good care of the aged and of those that wanted assist. It was her religion, perception in Jesus Christ that guided her choice in life as she all the time requested herself what’s the proper factor to do. Many seeked her for her steerage and knowledge in life’s challenges.
The household needs to thank many for the help that they acquired with the intention to enable Giuseppina to age gracefully in her own residence: Ontario Well being at House; nurses of Victoria Order of Nurses (VON); Hospice workers; her household physician and his workers, Dr. Dave Scarfone; Hospice physician, Dr. Steven Rukavina; and the private help staff from Paramed.
Visitation will probably be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7235 on Friday, February seventh, 2025 from 3 – 5:00 pm with prayers at 4:30 pm and and from 7-9:00 p.m. Visitation will proceed Saturday, February eighth, 2025 at 9:00 am, adopted by procession at 10:00 am to St. Angela Church for mass at 11:00 a.m. adopted by Internment at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
