JOLIE, Elizabeth (Lise) Jeanne Jolie, snjm

The Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, U.S.-Ontario Province, announce the delivery into everlasting lifetime of Sister Lise Jolie, snjm on November 4, 2024 at SNJM McEwan Residence in Windsor, Ontario. Lise was 67 years of age and 41 years of Non secular Career. She was supported throughout her remaining months and days by A Village of SNJM Sisters, Associates, Harrington and Jolie households, associates, Hospice Group of Windsor and most particularly by her housemate, Connie Harrington, snjm.

Predeceased by her mother and father: Ernest (2017) and Anne Louise (Adams) 2022. She is survived by her siblings: Thomas, Suzanne Williams, Philip and Carol; Simone and Joe Kilpatrick; Jennifer and Paul Kubinec and Caroline in addition to many nieces, nephews, nice nieces and nice nephews.

In her early years in ministry, Lise taught in a number of Windsor/Essex Excessive Colleges (St. Anne’s, Brennan and Assumption) the place she served as instructor and campus minister. As a novice, Lise served in pastoral ministry in Detroit, MI , then in Windsor and the distant communities of (Pelly Bay( Kugaaruk within the Nunavut Territory and Tache, Manitoba.

Lise shared her items with SNJM Ontario Province as bookkeeper and later managing the day-to-day enterprise and wishes for the Canadian a part of SNJM U.S.-Ontario Province. Lise shared her items as guitarist and vocalist wherever and each time attainable.

In the course of the pandemic lockdown, she posted a collection of songs on FACEBOOK which cheered many individuals’s hearts.

For a few years, Lise volunteered with Habitat for Humanity. She proudly labored on upkeep and transforming tasks for SNJM properties in Windsor areas. Her instruments have been amongst her prize possessions.

Lise cared for each of her mother and father of their remaining years and has been caring for her youthful sister who lives with a number of disabilities.

If one wanted “anything”, Lise was pleased to help all. She was a powerful advocate for our SNJM Refugee Ministry sponsored by Windsor Mission Centre.

We keep in mind Lise for her humour, her compassion, her want to grasp and her “out of the box” pondering. She was a girl of justice and deep compassion.

“Pay attention; listen and your soul will live” is a quote that spurred her on in life.

Visitation will @ Our Woman of the Assumption Church (350 Huron Church Rd)on November 16, 2024 from 9:30a.m. until time of celebration of life @ 11 a.m. Burial to observe the identical day at Heavenly Relaxation Cemetery in St. Ann’s Part.

(Dwell streaming will likely be obtainable for church celebration)

The Sisters of the Holy Names give due to Jolie/Harrington households close to and much, associates, SNJM Sisters and Associates close to and much; Hospice of Windsor and plenty of supporters.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations could also be made to Sisters of the Holy Names for Charitable Works, 215 McEwan Ave., Windsor, ON N9B 2E3
