We are saddened to share the news of Cornelia Marin’s passing on December 14, 2025, at the age of 62. She is now with her parents, Vasile and Ioana Calbau, along with her brothers Horia, Gelu, and Vespasian. We place her in the caring hands of our Lord Jesus Christ, relying on His mercy and promise of eternal life.
Cornelia leaves behind her loving husband, Iovan, and her dear children, Neda and Michael. She was a devoted sister to Crishan, Tiberiu, Ovidiu, Felicia, Doina, and Lucia. Her sister-in-law Ecaterina and family; cousin Kata Petrovic; Ivan and Draga; her cherished cat Ollie; along with many relatives across Europe will also miss her deeply.
Cornelia was a dedicated mother and wife who enjoyed every moment spent with her family.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7235) on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 2-4 p. m. and 6-8 p. m., with prayers at 7 p. m. A funeral service will be held at Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church (1960 Meldrum Rd., Windsor, ON) on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 11 a. m., followed by burial at Windsor Memorial Gardens.
