It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved patriarch Christos Kourtsidis. After a protracted life that started in Anavryta, Macedonia. Christos handed away peacefully surrounded by household at Windsor Regional Hospital in Windsor, Ontario.
He was born on June 3, 1938, oldest son of late Nikolaos and Magdalene (nee. Pavlidis). On January 19, 1956 within the Village of Felle he was united in marriage to Despina (nee. Evreniadis).
Christos joined his spouse in Germany 1963, and one yr later they welcomed their first son Nikolaus. In 1966, collectively with their oldest son Nikolaus, they immigrated to Canada; quickly after they welcomed son Stavros. In June’73, the household of 4 welcomed daughter Maria; dwelling in Toronto till transferring to Windsor six years later.
Christos beloved the outside; his favourite hobbies had been Fishing and Looking and other people watching. Christos beloved his neighborhood and much more his heritage; volunteering on the Greek competition yearly, with tons and plenty of loukmades for residence. Christos was a memorable man and loved spending time along with his mates on the Greek Membership, Kafenio, Mcdonald’s, and the Extendicare Lengthy-Time period Care Dwelling in Tecumseh.
Christos was a faithful Husband, Father, Papou, and Large-Papou. He’s survived by his kids Nikolaus(Denise), Stavros(Kim), and Maria. His grand-children Kate, Sophie, Martina, Micayla, Christos, Amelia, Joshua, Gabriella and nice grandson Brien.
He’s additional survived by nieces, nephews, many relations residing in nations that span the globe. Along with his mum or dad’s he was preceded in demise by his spouse Despina in (2019); together with siblings Irene, Leonidas, Elefteria, Stefano, Anastasia.
