MORIN-GANNON, Bernadette “Bernie” (nee Jones)
Bernadette “Bernie” Morin-Gannon passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, at the age of 79, surrounded by her loving family. She was a devoted wife to Edmond “Vern” Gannon for more than 40 years. Bernie was a caring mother to Robert and Jean-Paul “John” (Tina) and a cherished grandma to Cheyenne Morin (Paul), Kayla Ryan, Mikaela Morin (Nik), along with her great-grandchildren Brysan and Aurora. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mabel Jones and had siblings who predeceased her: Edna (late Jim), Kathleen (late Stan), Veronica (Ken), Patrick (late Susan), Frederick, and Linda. She also had many brothers-in-law who have passed on: Wayne, Al, Bob, Peter, Larry, and Max. Bernie is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members as well as her lifelong friends Doris and Anne.
She dedicated many years of service at St. Clair College before retiring. Family meant everything to Bernie-she was an affectionate mother, grandmother, and friend who valued every moment spent with her loved ones. Her commitment to her church was commendable; she volunteered at Our Lady of Atonement and was always willing to help others. Her support provided comfort and strength to everyone around her.
