Michelantonio “Michele” Colombo died peacefully in Eagle Ridge Hospital on October 23, 2021, in Port Moody, B.C. on the age of 90.
Michele is survived by his spouse, Maria; daughter Lucia Bevacqua; grandchildren Giovanni (Megan) Bevacqua, Angela (Anthony) Pezzolla, Carina (Curtis) Chartier, and brother Mario (Maria), 6 nice grandchildren and lots of nieces and nephews. He’s preceded in demise by mother and father Giuseppe and Maria-Libera, brothers Giovanni, Pasquale, Antonio, and sister Lina.
Michele was born on Could 2, 1931, in Bonefro Campobasso, Italy to Giuseppe and Maria Libera. He married his spouse Maria after a brief courtship, in 1955 and welcomed their daughter Lucia the next 12 months. The household was one in all many who immigrated to Canada within the 50’s and in 1958 got here to Canada settling in Vancouver. Michele started working for Terminal Metropolis in 1960 as a foundry employee feeding metallic right into a blast furnace to show into molten metallic and retired in 1995.
