It’s with nice unhappiness that we announce the passing of Maria Pia Di Poce (née Iafrate), born July thirty first, 1938 in Pagnanelli, Frosinone, Italy. She was married by proxy to the love of her life, Carmine Di Poce on March twenty first, 1954, and later immigrated to Canada in July.
Though Maria Pia was in her eighty fifth yr, she continued to selflessly dedicate herself to her household and family members. She was identified for her expertise and fervour for stitching and being an exquisite prepare dinner within the kitchen. She’s going to really be missed by all that knew her and her reminiscence will at all times dwell within the hearts of these she touched.
Daughter of Giovanni Iafrate and Santa Iafrate (neé Pennacchia). Beloved sister to the late Franco Iafrate, and she or he leaves behind her loving sister Ines. Devoted mom to the late Antonino, Mirella, Romina, Nadia and Gianpaolo. Loving Nonna to Natasha, Cassandra, Alexandra, Stefania, Frank-Anthony, Adrian-Carmine, Anthony-Carmine, Emily-Maria Pia and Carmen and Bisnonna to Jack. Cherished mother-in-law to Francesco, Roberto, Maggie and Chris.
