Mr. Louie “Kevin” Kovacs of Delhi, Ontario passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the age of 30. Kevin was a quiet and reserved person whose kindness and warmth touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He took pride in his work as a forklift driver and demonstrated a strong work ethic for over ten years. He loved spending time with friends, dirt biking, gaming, and playing with his beloved family dog Charlie. Kevin found solace in walking along trails and enjoying peaceful moments reading by the water. He was the beloved son of Linda (Demarest) and Louie Kovacs, loving brother to Kristin Hutchings (Kris), and an uncle to Karson Hutchings. He will be missed dearly by his grandparents Barbara Demarest (Late Richard, 2017) and Madeline Kovacs (Late Louis, 2020). Also remembering him are his Aunt Cathy Garrison (Aaron), Uncle Ron Demarest (Jill), cousins Amanda, Kaitlin, Danielle; Uncle Rob Kovacs (Bonnie); cousins Nick and Caitlin; as well as predeceased infant cousin Rece Garrison (1998). A visitation will take place at MURPHY FUNERAL HOME in Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www. mfh. care) on Thursday, March 26, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 p. m. The family would greatly appreciate any memorial donations made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (Brant – Haldimand – Norfolk Branch) or a charity of your choice.
