Kent Marcel Trimble

On October 30, 2025, Kent Marcel Trimble passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side. His entire family is grateful for the 71 years he so generously shared with them. Kent is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 51 years, Jane; Daughters Bonnie (Kevin) and Shelley (Randy); Grandchildren Gavin, Daniel, and Milo; Bonus Grandchildren Jessica and Ethan; siblings Ian (Helen), Bruce, Wendy (Kevin), Cindy (Garry), and Norm; along with many nieces and nephews. Kent was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 3, 1954. His father was in the Canadian Air Force, which allowed them to live in various parts of Canada. This sparked his love for traveling with family and friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and exploring new places with his grandchildren. He held special memories from their trips to Thunder Bay. He often reminisced about his favorite spot in Kauai, where he loved spending time with family while discovering the island and its ocean. As a student in high school, Kent participated in every sport available to him and later took pleasure in playing hockey, soccer, and golf. He spent countless hours watching the Thunder Bay Chill play soccer with his daughters. Kent had a passion for collecting many things but valued his family and friends above all else. He would do anything for them. Kent always saw life positively; he never thought of his glass as half empty or half full-he viewed it as overflowing. Thank you to the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and the Grey Nuns Community Hospital Palliative Care Unit 43 for their exceptional care and kindness.
A funeral Mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Friday, November 7 at 7 pm. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to any charity of your choice.
