James “Jim” Gordon Stewart – Peaceable Transition

STEWART, JAMES “JIM” GORDON handed away instantly and unexpectedly at his lakeside house on Wednesday, January twenty second, 2025 on the age of 57.

Jim is survived by his devoted mom, Mary (nee Hill), sister, Teri (Gordon), three loving kids, Alyssa, Dalton, and Clayton Stewart, and two adoring grandsons, Chase and Dallas. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Stewart.

Coached by his father, in his hometown of Oakville, Ontario, Jim’s love for hockey took maintain earlier than he may tie his personal skates. A proud goalie and admirable sportsman, Jim’s compassion, integrity, and dedication have been traits that outlined him on and off the ice. Lengthy after beginning his circle of relatives in Barrie, Ontario, Jim honoured his father’s legacy and love for the game by teaching his personal sons’ hockey groups via their childhoods, together with numerous native youth groups to observe.

Exterior the rink, Jim’s love for his household and associates nonetheless shines brightly via the recollections he captured in his pictures and the standard time spent on and by the water at his Lake Dalrymple house, usually together with his spirited canine, Molly, at his aspect.

A celebration of life can be held within the Most important Corridor on the Allandale Recreation Centre on February eighth at 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and once more at 6 p.m. to eight p.m.

Donations in reminiscence of Jim could also be made to Easter Seals Canada and Coronary heart and Stroke.
