Jack handed away peacefully along with his household by his facet on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, on the Peterborough Regional Well being Centre on the age of 78. Husband of 51 years to Mary Eileen (nee Cities). Father of Will (Joselyn), Jane Fitzgerald (Kevin), Pat (Celeste) and Greg (Lauren). Grandfather of Alex, Patrick, Rose, Mary, Kate and Tom. Brother of Nora Sweeney (Paul), Cathy Holland and Jim Holland. Brother-in-law of Pat Cities (Ruth) and Mike Cities (Rosemary). Predeceased by his mother and father John and Mary (nee Leahy) Holland.
Jack spent his life working as a farmer in Douro. He was obsessed with his household, neighborhood and church. Jack was beneficiant along with his time and at all times loved an excellent story and an excellent giggle.

Visitation will likely be held on the HIGHLAND PARK FUNERAL CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Highway, on Friday, November 1st, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with Parish Prayers starting at 4:45 P.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, Douro, will likely be on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024 at 11:00am. adopted by a light-weight luncheon within the Parish Corridor. Personal burial Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
