It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank J. O’Reilly on December 18, 2024, on the age of 97. Born on November 9, 1927, in Windsor, Ontario, Frank lived a life marked by humility, arduous work, and deep love for his household.

Frank is survived by his beloved spouse, Saralee O’Reilly, who was his associate in life and love for 36 great years; his kids, Patricia (Tim) Doyle and Sean O’Reilly, to whom he was a loyal father; and his grandchildren, Kevin, Brian (Christine), Connor (Cloe), Mary-Kate (Dean), and Shannon, all of them enriched by his generosity and knowledge

Frank is survived by his sister, Rose Fisher. He’s predeceased by his siblings Mary (Sr. Anne Beatrice) , Jack, Nancy, Gerard, Alice and former partner of 34 years, Joan Shuker O’Reilly, with whom he shared his kids.

Frank started with little however rose to nice heights, changing into Vice President of Manufacturing at Chrysler Canada, a feat that stood as certainly one of his proudest achievements. His life story is an inspiration to many, demonstrating the ability of perseverance, integrity, and dedication within the face of challenges.

Frank’s kindness and good spirits left an enduring impression on all who knew him. His heat and positivity touched numerous lives, forsaking a legacy of affection and resilience that may by no means be forgotten.

A funeral service will probably be held on Monday, December 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Names Church (681 McEwan Ave. Windsor, ON) to honour Frank’s life. Following the service, interment will happen at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Donations in reminiscence of Frank could also be made to Windsor Goodfellows ().
