Erkki (Eric) Saranpaa, 76, passed away on February 5, with his family by his side.

Born on December 25, 1949, to Nikolai and Aili Saranpaa, Erkki was famous for his humor and enjoyed sharing jokes that made everyone laugh.

He is survived by his daughters, Jenny (Shawn), Valerie (Colin), and Janice (Bill); granddaughters Emily, Miranda, and Mia; brother Esko (Marilyn); in-laws James (Brenda), Peggy, and Sandy; many nieces and nephews; and his loyal dog, Bam Bam.

His wife Wendy is waiting for him in heaven.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
