Moir, Edmée
March 4, 1942 – January 16, 2025
Edmée Moir, née Levasseur, handed away peacefully on the Toronto Western Hospital on January 16, 2025, on the age of 82, surrounded by her family members. Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Edmée was raised in a household of 9 kids. In her early twenties, she left dwelling to start her profession as a flight attendant for Air Canada, the place she labored for over thirty years. In 1969, she married Robert Moir, a CBC sports activities producer whom she had met earlier whereas working for Radio-Canada in Winnipeg.
A vivacious and sociable woman, Edmée loved journey, visiting household and taking part in golf, notably at St. George’s Golf Membership in Toronto, in addition to in Naples, Florida. She amassed quite a few trophies and gained a number of tournaments.
Edmée is predeceased by her beloved husband Bob, in addition to by her dad and mom and her sister Pauline. She is survived by seven siblings and by her husband’s household, in addition to by many nieces and nephews. Specific thanks are prolonged to the members of her Toronto household, Roland and Myriam, Katrina and Mikaela, for his or her loving care through the years.
A memorial service in her honour will probably be held within the spring.
