Gendron, Edithe “Ann” (Anne with an E)

She passed away surrounded by her family on January 12, 2026 at her home in Kitchener, ON at the age of 81.

She was a loving Mother to Juanita (Les) and Scott (Anita).

Also a step-mother to Dale.

A devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.

A dear sister to Patricia (John).

She will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Anne was predeceased by her husband Clarence Gendron (2015), parents Irving and Marion Thornton (nee Mc Naughton), and brothers Gerald Thornton, Irving Thornton Jr. and Sonny Thornton.

The family will welcome friends and relatives from 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Memorial Service will take place in the chapel at 1:00 PM followed by a reception.

In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Humane Society, WRHN Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
