Feb. 12, 1964 – Feb. 15, 2026

The family of Bruce Larson Jr. is heartbroken to share that he passed away on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026. He lost his battle with complications from liver disease.

Bruce leaves behind his father, Bruce Larson Sr., along with his sisters Tricia (Lonnie) and Tammy (Rene), as well as many nephews, nieces, and cousins. His longtime best friend since kindergarten, Stephen Harris (Shelly), also mourns his loss.

In his younger days, Bruce loved being outdoors-fishing, hunting, and camping were some of his favorite activities. He particularly enjoyed visiting Stephen’s camp at Stewart Lake. Racing was another passion of his; he would sometimes take road trips to the States with his dad. You could often find him at casinos in Thunder Bay, Grand Portage, and Hinckley.

Bruce held various jobs before joining Vector Construction. His strong work ethic enabled him to retire early at the age of forty-seven.

As per Bruce’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be organized at a later date.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Stephen and Shelly for their unwavering support throughout the years and especially during the final moments.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, located at 575 Central Avenue in Thunder Bay.
