Bradley Reginald Warren, who lived in Huntsville, was born on September 25th, 1957, in St. Catharines. He passed away in Huntsville on Christmas Day, 2025. He is profoundly missed by his loving wife Meghan Pomeroy (who he married joyfully on July 21st, 2018, on Mc Laren Island in Georgian Bay), his parents Beverley Joan Mc Manus (Jim – predeceased) and Frederick Richard Warren (Marsha), daughters Kelly and Riley Warren along with their mother Jo Ann, grandchildren Tyson and Alex, and sisters Linda Warren (Shawn Revill) and Kathy Richardson (Tom). He was a caring uncle to Eric Dauphin (Misty), Carissa Richardson, Juliet (Bradley) and Jacob Camus, and a great-uncle to Lucas and Hazel Dauphin. Brad was also a cherished son-in-law to Margaret Pomeroy (Ted Duncan) and a dear brother-in-law to David Pomeroy (Hilary Sadowsky), as well as a good friend to many others. Brad grew up in Fonthill, which he affectionately referred to as “the hub of the universe.” There, he would walk down the hill from Damude Drive to play hockey at the outdoor rink with neighborhood friends. He attended A. K. Wigg public school and played football at E. L. Crossley Secondary School. He took part in various local sports activities, often got into mischief, and found his love for being outdoors during those years that provided him with fond memories and lifelong friendships.
His passion for nature led him north to study Forestry at Sir Sandford Fleming College before embarking on a lengthy career with the Ministry of Natural Resources. At MNR, he explored every nook of Ontario while taking on diverse roles that let him experience everything the province had to offer – battling forest fires in Northern Ontario, conducting fish census surveys on Lake Erie, serving as a Deputy Conservation Officer in eastern Ontario, and working at numerous provincial parks throughout the region.
Brad and Meg enjoyed their time at their cottage on Georgian Bay where they loved renovating it using repurposed materials alongside other finds while spending quality moments with friends on the dock. The cottage was truly Brad’s happy place. With an unquenchable thirst for life experiences along with his knack for sharing them with others, Brad thrived when guiding people through his passions. He never liked sitting still; you could often find him off having adventures or catching up with old friends while making new ones too. An expert tour guide by heart; he relished trips to see the Comfort Maple or visit wineries and antique shops across the Niagara Peninsula; chasing early morning topwater hits while bass fishing; enjoying cigars or drinks on the dock; setting up for an eight-pointer near his hunting blind; camping near Bone Lake close to Chapleau or Nakina; hunting for treasures at flea markets; cooking cabbage rolls; losing countless golf balls; chatting about motorcycles or guitars or classic cars; or mixing perfect rum-and-cokes or gin martinis loaded with olives. Most importantly though was how much he loved his family and friends. The countless amusing memories we have of Brad can’t all be captured here but anyone who knew him will remember his energy filled spirit along with his humor-filled laughter plus determination too! His family bonds were essential parts of what fueled his liveliness plus joy! And if you ever needed help – whether it was mechanic work or real estate advice – he had skills as a deal maker ready always willing make connections! Brad will be remembered as someone radiating positivity paired generosity.
In line with Brad’s wishes cremation has taken place now Bradley’s ashes are set to be scattered over Georgian Bay since it’s where he felt most alive! A celebration of life event is being organized so keep an eye out for details soon.
