Jeannine Bourgeois (née Lévesque)

With great love and sadness, we share the news of Jeannine Bourgeois (née Lévesque) passing away at the age of 93. Born on April 17, 1933, she led a life filled with compassion, dedication, and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gabriel Bourgeois, with whom she shared many wonderful years. Also predeceased are her son Luc Bourgeois and her adored great-grandson Tyler Bourgeois Christine.

Jeannine leaves behind a caring family that will always remember her fondly. Her daughter Joanne Goltz (Luke), along with her grandchildren:
Jeremy Gillanders (Beth), Vicky Bourgeois, Renée Bean (Jim), Tamara Peters, and Natasha Southwind (Gilbert) will miss her dearly.

She took immense joy in her expanding family and was blessed with numerous great-grandchildren:
Courtney, Brooke (Shawn), Delhanie, Tristan, Jaylyn, Tarren, Connor, Brantley, Xzander, Zayden and Kimberly as well as great-great-grandchildren Sierra, Lucas, Lincoln and Eloise; each one brought happiness to her life.

Jeannine dedicated her career to education as both a teacher and principal. She had a special commitment to helping children with learning disabilities ensuring every child felt appreciated and capable. Her kindness and support made a difference for many students.

A person of strong faith, Jeannine was an active member of the Catholic Church where her gentle spirit inspired those around her. She was also a beloved figure in the Spanish community known for being warm-hearted and always ready to lend a hand.

Most importantly, Jeannine will be remembered for her kind spirit and generous heart along with the love she shared so openly with family members, friends, students and everyone in her community.

The impact she made lives on through all those who were touched by her presence.

May she rest peacefully in eternal sleep.

A Celebration of Life is scheduled for July 4th, 2026 at 11:00am followed by a memorial service at the Spanish Legion.

A private burial will take place at 2:00pm afterwards

C’est avec une profonde tristesse et beaucoup d’amour que nous annonçons le décès de Jeannine Bourgeois (née Lévesque), une âme douce et dévouée qui nous a quittés à l’âge de 93 ans. Née le 17 avril 1933 , Jeannine a vécu une vie empreinte de compassion , de dévouement et d’une grande bonté.

Je ann ine a été précédée dans la mort par l’amour de sa vie , son époux bien-aimé Gabriel Bourgeois , avec qui elle a partagé de nombreuses années de bonheur. Elle est également allée rejoindre son fils Luc Bourgeois , ainsi que son arrière-petit-fils adoré Tyler Bourgeois Christine.

Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille bien-aimée Joanne Goltz(Luke) , ainsi que ses petits-enfants :
Jeremy Gillanders(Beth) , Vicky Bourgeois , Renée Bean(Jim) , Tamara Peters et Natasha Southwind(Gilbert).

Jean ine était immensément fière de sa grande famille et chérissait chacun de ses arrière-petits-enfants :
Courtney , Brooke(Shawn) , Delhanie , Tristan , Jaylyn , Tarren , Conor , Brantley, Xzander, Zayden et Kimberly ainsi que ses arrière-arrière-petits-enfants Sierra, Lucas, Lincoln et Eloise qui ont tous illuminé ses dernières années.

Je ann ine a consacré sa vie professionnelle à l’éducation en tant qu’enseignante et directrice d’école. Elle avait une passion particulière pour l’accompagnement des enfants ayant des troubles d’apprentissage veillant à ce que chacun d’eux se sente compris, dévalué et capable de réussir. Sa patience, sagénérositéetsonengagementontmarquélaviedenombeuxélèvesetfamilles.

Son héritage vivra à travers tous ceuxcellesqu’elleatouchés.
