Handed peacefully surrounded by her loving household on the Joseph Brant Hospital on Sunday April 14th, 2013 on the age of 76. Survived by her loving husband of 55 years Peter S. Hobden. Cherished mom of David (Helen) of Milton, Robert “Bruce” (Christine) of Innisville, Kimberley of Burlington and Douglas (Kerry) of New Liskeard. Loving grand-mother to Laura, Anna, Caleb, Tyler, Ashley, Kyle, Jordan, Kate, Jenny, Emily, Ryan, Carly, Courtney and Amelia. Proud nice grand-mother to Gerard. Predeceased by loving brothers, David and Robert. Anne was born and raised in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Anne got here to Canada to do her nursing coaching on the Girls’s School Hospital. Above being a fulltime mom and nurse, Anne did volunteer work for the Oakville Stroke Affiliation and was an especially artistic individual, there was not a factor that Anne couldn’t make or do. She was extraordinarily gifted along with her palms. Anne and Peter simply celebrated their fifty fifth marriage ceremony anniversary this previous March. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Wednesday April seventeenth, 2013 from 3-5p.m and 7-9p.m. A Funeral Service can be held on Thursday April 18th at 1:00p.m. Non-public cremation to observe. Spring interment at Chesley Cemetery. If desired, as an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Salvation Military can be enormously appreciated by the household.
