Ontario Provincial Police say the one car crash occurred round 2:40 a.m. Sunday on Freeway 402, west of Glendon Drive.
Police say a 20-year-old man from Sarnia was pronounced deceased on the scene, and three different occupants of the car had been taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening accidents.
They are saying a portion of the freeway, west of London, was closed between Glendon Drive and Hickory Drive however has since reopened.
Police say the investigation continues.
