A new Costco warehouse is on its way to Oakville, Ontario, and it’s scheduled to open in 2027.
Construction at 3471 Wyrecroft Rd. is expected to kick off this spring for an opening that will likely happen in the fall of 2027, as confirmed by Oakville Mayor Rob Burton through a social media update.
What shoppers can look forward to at the new Costco in Oakville
The warehouse will feature over 15,600 square meters of space along with 1,000 parking spots both above and below ground for customers, based on planning documents submitted to the City of Oakville.
The plans also include a staffed gas station located near the intersection of South Service Road West and Rio Can Boulevard.
There are two proposed access points from Wyecroft Road that will lead into the underground parking area.
The site will be reachable via Rio Can Boulevard with one access point on the north side and another on the east side of the property.
“Regional approvals for traffic signals and site access are secured, with additional infrastructure improvements underway to support this highly anticipated project,” said the mayor in his update.
