Police say officers have been known as to the realm of Jones Avenue and Hunter Avenue simply after 7 p.m.
They are saying a girl with gunshot accidents was present in entrance of a house.
She was taken to hospital and later pronounced lifeless.
Police recognized the sufferer as 34-year-old Alisha Brooks of Toronto.
A 33-year-old man from Toronto was arrested on the scene and charged with first-degree homicide.
