Wallace will take over from Jeff Wendling, who introduced his retirement in September.
She is at present the chief vice-president of technique and company growth and president of energy and vitality options at TC Power.
Earlier than working on the pipeline firm, Wallace was chief pension officer and government vice-president and world head of infrastructure at OMERS, the pension fund for Ontario municipal staff.
