Halton Black Historical past Consciousness Society (HBHAS) is holding a Cultural Dynamics Management Coaching (CDLT) program.
The workshop takes place Friday, Jan. 31, at Halton Area Police Companies headquarters, 2485 North Service Rd. W. Oakville.
The CDLT program is designed particularly for educators to equip folks with progressive instructing strategies and sources that promote inclusive and supportive studying environments.
As Ontario prepares to raise Black historical past within the curriculum beginning in September, it is important for educators to embrace cultural mentorship and improve their instructing methods. With Halton’s outstanding development in seen minority populations, faculties are the right start line for fostering inclusivity, equality, and appreciation for various cultures.
Registration is on a first-come-first-served foundation, and closes on Thursday, Jan. 23, 4 p.m., or when the workshop reaches capability.
