Crime incident charges proceed December drops: Dec. 11-17, 2024 Oakville crime report

Because the city will get nearer to Christmas, Oakville is reporting a notable drop in its variety of crime incidents for the second week in a row

Halton Regional Police responded to 52 crime incidents in Oakville, from Dec. 11-17, 2024. Crime numbers dropped by 13 per cent.

Sunday, December 15 was the busiest day, with 10 reported incidents. West Oak Trails residents reported most crimes on this interval (9 in complete.)

As well as, 11 incidents of thefts valued beneath $5,000 have been reported. 

Previously seven days, Halton Police responded to 11 break-ins at residences. If this charge stayed constant, there could be 528 incidents a yr. During the last 30 days, there have been 55 break-ins at homes.

During the last six months, 130 break-ins all through Oakville have been reported. Previously yr, there have been 249.
