A Catholic priest in Oakville, Ont. is facing a charge of sexual assault following an investigation.
According to Halton Regional Police Service, the inquiry started in February of this year after a woman alleged she was assaulted while volunteering at a church in Oakville.
This investigation led to the arrest of Rev. Ranjan D’Sa, who has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
D’Sa has been released on an undertaking and is set to appear in court in Milton, Ont. at a later date.
