From February 8 to February 10, Halton Regional Police reported that officers carried out eight searches at homes in Oakville, Brampton, and Toronto. This operation resulted in five arrests and over 50 charges being filed.

Authorities stated they’ve disrupted an organized drug distribution network after confiscating firearms, bullet-proof vests, illegal drugs, and $250,000 in cash during the operations in Brampton, Oakville, and Toronto.

The raids were part of an investigation named Project Regal aimed at breaking down a drug trafficking ring originating from Oakville and Brampton, according to Halton Regional Police.

During the operations between February 8 and February 10, police conducted eight raids at residences in Oakville, Brampton, and Toronto resulting in five arrests and more than 50 charges laid.

Investigators found approximately 11 kilograms of cocaine, three ounces of fentanyl, and half a kilogram of methamphetamines during their searches.

Two loaded handguns-one featuring an extended magazine-along with two Kevlar vests and around $250,000 worth of cash were also taken during the raids as reported by police.

A stolen BMW was also recovered.
