A man from Brampton is facing several attempted murder charges after a shooting incident that took place during the day in Oakville.
According to the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS), this occurred on Friday, March 27th, at about 12:05 p. m. on Progress Court near South Service Road. Investigators claim that a suspect in one vehicle shot multiple times at another vehicle behind him before driving away eastbound toward Fourth Line.
Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and police believe the shooting was deliberate.
Following their investigation, 29-year-old Justin Tasevski from Brampton was arrested and charged with:
Two counts of Attempted Murder Two counts of Discharging a Firearm with Intent Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Fail to Comply with Release Order
He has been held in custody and appeared in court on Sunday, March 29th, and is scheduled for another court date in April in Milton.
Police stated they are not searching for any more suspects; however, the firearm used during the incident has yet to be recovered.
