4 native desk tennis athletes medal at Ontario Summer time Video games

The competitors was held final weekend in London, bringing eight medals house to Oakville

Sizzling off the Olympics fever of the previous few weeks, a number of Oakville athletes have gained medals on the 2024 Ontario Summer time Video games in an thrilling and unusual sport: desk tennis.

4 younger members of Oakville’s Group Desk Tennis Affiliation (OCTTA) gained a complete of eight medals from the video games held in London, Ontario final week.

“I’m thrilled to share this thrilling information in regards to the current achievements of our native Oakville residents on the Ontario 2024 Summer time Video games,” stated Jen Zhou, director of the OCTTA. “Our athletes introduced house a formidable array of medals.”

The 4 younger medal winners included:


Kenny Zhang

U13 Boys Singles: Gold
U13 Doubles: Gold
U13 Blended Doubles: Silver


William Li


Olivia Zhao

U13 Women Singles: Bronze
U13 Doubles: Bronze
U13 Blended Doubles: Bronze


Ryan Wong

U13 Doubles: BronzeU13 Blended Doubles: Bronze

“These outstanding younger athletes have made our group proud with their dedication and arduous work,” stated Zhou in an announcement.

The OCTTA says they will likely be organizing extra group occasions at their membership in September.
