Peel Area police are investigating after a girl was left in life-threatening situation following a capturing in Mississauga, Ont.
Police say they have been notified of a capturing within the space of Mississauga Highway and Queen Elizabeth Approach at round 4 a.m. on Tuesday.
After they arrived on the scene they are saying they discovered a 33-year-old woman affected by a number of gunshot wounds.
Police say the lady was taken to a close-by trauma centre in life-threatening situation.
They are saying the suspects within the capturing had already fled the scene earlier than police arrived.
Peel police are asking the general public for any info that will assist their investigation.
