Two men from Mississauga face charges after police intercepted an unregistered vehicle in Burlington.

An Automated License Plate Recognition alert for a plate that wasn’t attached led officers to pull over a car on the QEW near North Shore Boulevard shortly after 8 a. m. on January 9, according to the Ontario Provincial Police on X.

The authorities reported that the vehicle was bought in November 2025, but the owner, who was also riding as a passenger, hadn’t registered it.

No insurance proof was shown, police noted.

The driver, a 30-year-old man from Mississauga, received charges for driving while under suspension along with three other offenses.

A 29-year-old man from Mississauga was charged for allowing a motor vehicle to be operated without insurance.
