An 18-year-old woman who allegedly stole a Porsche after which ran over its proprietor in a caught-on-video incident in Mississauga earlier this month is now going through auto theft charges in Toronto.


Toronto police say that the suspect was charged on Monday whereas nonetheless within the custody of Peel Regional Police.


She is accused of being concerned in two incidents that came about in Toronto’s west finish over the span of 5 days earlier this month.


Within the first incident on Sept. 11, a female and male attended a residence close to Kipling Avenue and Rathburn Street for a pre-arranged assembly to buy the sufferer’s automobile.

In that video, a younger woman is seen knocking on the house’s door and telling the sufferer that she is ready for her father and is desirous about “taking a look” on the Porsche after responding to an Auto Dealer commercial.

Talking with CP24 final week, Peel Regional Police Const. Tyler Bell mentioned that the suspect going through charges within the incident – 18-year-old Brampton resident Sarah Badshaw – is “linked to numerous (other) investigations in Peel” and was additionally needed by different GTA police providers in reference to separate investigations.

Badshaw has been charged with theft of a motorized vehicle, try to commit an indictable offense and possession of property obtained by crime in reference to the Toronto incidents.
