Singer-songwriter Sully Burrows from Parry Sound received six nominations for the 14th annual CMAOntario Awards, happening on Sunday, May 31 at Port Credit Memorial Arena in Mississauga.

Nate Haller from Waterloo follows closely with five nominations, while Olivia Mae Graham from Norfolk County has four. Robyn Ottoline (Uxbridge), Owen Riegling (Mildmay in Bruce County), Jessica Sevier (Toronto), and Sacha Warkworth each received three nominations.

In terms of major awards, Burrows is nominated for single of the year for ‘Rally Around,’ album of the year for ‘Somewhere in a Small Town,’ and male artist of the year; Haller is up for male artist of the year and best single; Graham has nominations for female artist of the year and album of the year; Ottoline is nominated for single of the year with ‘Airplane Bottle’; Riegling competes for male artist of the year and top single; Sevier is up for both single of the year and female artist of the year; James Barker Band is nominated for single of the year, album of the year (‘One of Us’), and band of the year; Sacha has nominations for album of the year and female artist of the year.

<p Hosted by Jason Blaine, who’s won multiple CMAOntario, CCMA, and SOCAN Awards, alongside Country Nights host Sam Mc Daid, this year's CMAOntario Awards Show will wrap up the CMAOntario Festival & Awards Weekend taking place from May 29-31.

The CMAOntario Awards recognize and celebrate Ontario’s country music scene, honoring artists and industry professionals across 17 categories along with special awards.
