First responders in London, Ont., say their search for a woman who went lacking within the Thames River has was a restoration operation.

Divers and boats began on the lookout for the lacking little one at round 3 p.m. ET Thursday after stories that she had entered the water close to the intersection of Adelaide Avenue and Kipps Lane, and was then seen struggling.

Police are reminding the general public to remain secure close to the river and permit emergency crews to do their jobs.
