OPP say a 32-year-old Central Huron resident has died after a two-vehicle collision within the Municipality of Huron East.
Simply after 1:35 p.m. on Wednesday, members of the Huron County OPP, Huron County Paramedic Companies, and North Huron Hearth Division responded to a collision on Blyth Street close to Hensall Street in Huron East.
Upon arrival, emergency providers situated the concerned automobiles; an SUV and a truck hauling a cattle trailer. Police say the lone driver of the truck was pronounced deceased on the scene.
The second driver was not injured. Neither automobile had passengers on board.
Police say a number of cattle wanted to be dispatched on the scene because of accidents sustained within the collision.
The reason for the collision is being investigated.
Members from the West Area OPP Visitors Incident Administration & Enforcement (TIME) Group are on the scene to help with the collision investigation. Blyth Street (County Street 25) is closed between North Line and Turnbull Line for the investigation and can stay closed for a number of hours.
