Kitchener Convenience Store Robbery on Christmas Day

Authorities are looking for a suspect after a robbery that took place on Christmas Day at a convenience store in Kitchener.

Regional officers report that the incident occurred around 12:30 p. m. close to Victoria Street South and Westmount Road.

The suspect reportedly entered the store with a knife, demanding cash from an employee.

The individual escaped on foot before police arrived and was last seen heading towards Mooregate Crescent.

Law enforcement has shared an image of the suspect, described as a black male in his 20s to 30s, approximately 6′2″ tall. He was wearing a black vest, sweatshirt, track pants, and running shoes.
